Clamps

Four types of clamps are available with the locking mechanism including Vertical Handle, Horizontal Handle, Pull (Latch) Style and Push (Straight Line) Style toggle clamps. The added feature ensures that the toggle clamp will remain in the closed / hold down position for maximum security in workholding applications. Additionally, it also ensures that the clamps remain in the unclamped / open position to facilitate part change and operator convenience.

The KONTEC KSC mini is the vise of choice for flexible use in efficient blank and finish part machining. Conversion on a larger clamping range is even possible without requiring additional accessories. Different jaw widths of 45 and 70 mm can be used on the same basic vise, allowing optimal adjustment to different clamping tasks.

The austenitic AISI 316L (A4) stainless steel receives its high resistance to chlorides and acids primarily from the chromium, nickel, and molybdenum constituents. This predestines the AISI 316L (A4) standard parts from Winco for use on ships and other offshore sites, in swimming pools with chlorinated or mineral-rich waters and, anywhere else that requires such thorough cleaning.

The Kurt pyramid workholding bundles facilitate clamping of three individual components in one fixture and completed in a single setup. The Kurt 45-degree design mounting surface is positioned so each vise provides maximum access to all machined surfaces and allows for enhanced spindle and cutting tool clearance.

SCHUNK has developed a completely sealed miniature clamping module specifically for compact applications in the metalcutting industry, assembly and handling, as well as for measurement technology. It combines compact dimensions, high pull-down and holding forces, a high dimensional stability and a high repeat accuracy of < 0.005 mm.

Mitee-Bite Products completed the design and development of a new style concentric outside diameter (OD) clamping tool. Repeats within tenths, compact for high-density application and tough enough to limit yourself to tooling capabilities.

Carmex Precision Tools’ CIM system provides high precision, accuracy and repeatability through an internal tool indexing mechanism that locates the tool in the correct orientation. The collet holds the tool securely for high stability, and tool change does not require removal of the holder.

Carr Lane Manufacturing Co.'s pivoting edge clamp is well suited for holding large castings and other tall workpieces, and converts easily from manual to hydraulic operation, making it versatile and flexible. The pivoting jaw exerts clamping force forward and downward at the same time.
