Gaging/Measuring

W640JZ, W643JZ, and W644JZ Wireless Electronic Depth Gages

The W643JZ depth gage features a knife edge base and a needle point contact that has been hardened and ground. The conical point which is 1/2" long with a 40-degree angle can be precisely positioned for close work due to a cutout on the knife base. All three of the new Starrett wireless electronic depth gages are accurate to +/- .001"/ 0.03mm, and have a 0.0005"/ 0.01mm resolution. Measurement ranges for each of the gages are as follows: the W640JZ offers a range of 0-.500" (0-13mm), the W643JZ offers a range of 0-.125" (0-3mm) and the W644JZ offers a range of 0-3" (0-75mm).

Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Checking Gage

The gage is supplied in a carrying case with a program on a USB drive that runs in LK's CAMIO measuring and reporting software. The program includes DMIS measurement and alignment routines for bridge and horizontal arm CMMs, allowing the CCG cycle to run seamlessly on LK machines. However, it is easy for operators of other 3D measuring platforms using different software to program a probing cycle around the gage to check for machine accuracy.

FlexPoint 12-Series

Made for large, heavy parts with complex dimensions and tolerances, FlexPoint 12-Series measures volumes up to 1200 x 3000 x 1000 mm. The VersaFlex multisensor head is a patented sensor array that offers up to three simultaneously available sensors on one articulating head: OGP SmartProbe fully telecentric optical video probe, SP25 scanning probe, and the interferometric laser TeleStar Probe.

Measure Parts in the Machine

Marposs WRSP60 scanning probe with radio data transmission performs profile and surface contact scans on newly worked parts as well as measurements for run out, roundness and concentricity evaluation directly inside the machine. Designed to fit on lathes, turning centers and multitasking machines, the WRSP60 can automatically define TIR, roundness and concentricity of rounded parts with a repeatability of 0,4 microns.
