HGG Profiling Equipment BV has named Mark Eastin as the area sales manager for the Western US, Western Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii regions.

In this role, Eastin is responsible for providing new machinery sales, service and support for customers who are optimizing their 3D profiling operations by adopting automated plasma cutting technologies such as the company’s RoboRail all-in-one robotic plasma cutting machine, the high-performance RPC 1200 Mk3 Beam Cutting machine, and the The ProCutter 900 RB pipe profiler available with rollberbeds.

Eastin will also oversee the HGG dealer network responsible for selling the company’s 3D profiling pipe and beam line.

Eastin brings nearly 10 years of business development experience to his new role having managed relationships and sales growth in the mechanical contractors, food and dairy, process piping, pharmaceutical, and aerospace industry.

“Profile cutting is an integral part of the welding process but it’s often performed using manual techniques, taking significant time, leaving the door open to less-than-accurate cuts and closing the door to new business opportunities,” said Eastin. “I’m excited to be able to help customers to fully automate their cutting operations with what I believe are the most sophisticated and yet easy to use plasma cutting machines available to date. HGG is known for their excellence and attention to customer needs and I look forward to being a part of their U.S.-based team.”
