New Machine Tool Program to Start at TCAT Elizabethton
A $650,000 grant awarded last year to TCAT Elizabethton has enabled the school to begin a new program, machine tool technology. The first class will begin Jan. 4.
Machine tool programs provide basic skills in machine operation and can enable participants to experience operating a variety of machine tools, such as conventional lathes and milling machines, as well as CNC machines. A $650,000 grant awarded last year to TCAT Elizabethton from the state of Tennessee has enabled the school to begin a new program, machine tool technology. The first class will begin Jan. 4.
