OSG USA Inc., St. Charles, Illinois, announces the Expansion of the EXOCARB WXL-CR-EDS endmill series to now include inch size offerings. The new EXOCARB WXL-CR-EDS 3870 premium high-performance carbide endmills are designed for pre-hardened and hardened steels.

The endmill series features:

• ultra-fine micro-grain carbide that is said to offer the hardest, most wear-resistant carbide possible,
• high accuracy and high-precision geometry is said to all but eliminate the need for benching and rework for mold makers,
• thicker core diameters that adds significant strength and rigidity to the tools,
• and a WXL coating provides a higher coating oxidation temperature (+1,100 Celsius) and hardness (+3,100 Hv).
