The new JET 13" EVS semiautomatic dual-mitering bandsaw saves time and boosts shop productivity with its unique, swiveling head that miters 45° right and 60° left for quick angle cuts without repositioning the workpiece. A frequency inverter, also exclusive to this EVS saw, provides a full range of blade speeds from 50 to 297 rpm.

This durable, dual-mitering bandsaw weighs 2,090 lbs. and is constructed of heavy gauge steel throughout to dampen vibration and prevent deflection. The machine is driven by a 3-hp, 230/460V, 3 Ph motor, which is prewired for 230V, 3Ph operation. A magnetic starter is utilized for low voltage and lost phase protection.

For rapid clamping of workpieces, the 13 x 24" saw is equipped with a hydraulic vise that has a 26" maximum opening. After each cut, the saw's semiautomatic bow raises to a predetermined height. A hydraulic downfeed control can be easily adjusted, enabling feed rates to evolve with variable types of materials.

Blade guides have quick, smooth action and incorporate a built-in, self-propelled blade brush to prevent chip build-up. A blade tensioning gauge ensures that the blade is in the correct cutting position. Also, an automatic blade breakage sensor prevents damage to the workpiece by interrupting the power if accidental breakage occurs. The blade is fully guarded for operator safety.

The mitering bandsaw's integrated cooling system helps extend blade life, saving both downtime and money. An onboard, pressurized wash hose is provided for easy machine cleanup.

An E-stop is prominently positioned on the control panel for quick, emergency shut-off.

A safety switch on the power key helps prevent accidental start-ups. The dual-mitering bandsaw is CSA/US-certified. The mitering band saw's optional roller stand incorporates six rollers, and measures 27 ½" H x 13 ¾" W x 54-1/3" L.
