Modern Industries Inc.'s SpinSelect selectable toolholder allows for quick indexing between its five pockets with a quarter turn of a socket head cap screw. Each pocket can house a different tool, enabling quick changes between operations without requalifying tools.

It is for use on most lathes with a turret or tool post and reduces insert indexing time by up to 85 percent, according to the company. The holder provides coolant through the tool.
