Designed for versatility, improved finish and long life, Carmex's latest additions to the popular Groove Milling line features six flutes constructed of MT8 grade carbide with advanced PVD triple coating for high heat and wear resistance in high-performance and normal operations. Six spiral flutes deliver greater productivity through minimized cycle time, as well as reducing cutting forces and providing smooth action for better finish. A large flute space speeds chip evacuation, and the tools are designed for high stability that prevent vibration.

Jeff Dei, president of Carmex USA, said: "These latest additions to the MG Groove Milling family are excellent for machining deeper holes while allowing for higher overhang. The same tool can be used on machines ranging from large machining centers to Swiss-style lathes. Equipped with an internal coolant bore, the same tool can be used for internal and external grooving. The popularity of MG tooling shows that customers appreciate the quality and flexibility that Carmex designs into all of our specialized tools. We look forward to working with customers in their grooving applications in all materials."
