The new CUT-TN inserts carried by FLP Tooling Inc. offer a negative cut-off application allowing for faster cut-off operation. The reinforced edge adds extra cutting strength for machining at higher feed rates and with harder materials. It is available up to 42mm diameter.

In addition to the new inserts, a new HTX coating is available on UL/UN/UR inserts. The HTX coating is formulated with K05 carbide grade and is effective for machining abrasive materials such as aluminum (greater than 10 percent Si), abrasive steel and titanium.
