The Alfie 500 is a mobile, plug-and-play system designed to remove contaminating oil, grease and solid particles from metalworking fluids. Based on high-speed centrifugal separation, it can handle volumes up to 1500 gallons, operating at standstill or during a production run, without interrupting the machining process.

Designed for small and medium-sized workshops, the Alfie 500 outperforms conventional methods, reportedly cleaning more effectively than skimmers, filters and settling tanks. The unit separates tramp oil as well as metal fines and solid particles down to 1µm from the coolant. This complete compact system includes a separator, feed pump and control system and the control panel makes it easy to operate, as all functions are managed by a PLC-based control system.

Operating in bypass flow, the compact Alfie 500 can be installed in any metalworking system. The compact and ergonomic design also makes it easy to move across the workshop floor, and it can be used to service several tanks, as special couplings make it easy to connect and disconnect the hoses quickly when moving the unit from tank to tank.
