Jergens joins with Penske Racing

Jergens Inc., Cleveland, has been named the preferred Workholding solutions supplier for Penske Racing. Working with Penske Racing personnel, Jergens Workholding Solutions brings quick-change fixturing to the racing team's machine shop operations.

Jergens workholding components that will enable Penske Racing machining operations to create fast set-ups and quick-change fixturing include FixturePro 5-axis workholding, a standard modular system featuring interchangeable components and top tooling for 5-axis machining, and the Ball Lock mounting system for quick change of fixtures and tooling on horizontal and vertical machining centers.

Jergens also offers compatible subplates and fixture plates, vises, 2- and 4-sided fixture columns, power clamps, pallets, chucks, indexers, and the ZPS Zero Point System. 

Penske Racing also named Jergens' tooling components division the preferred supplier of Kwik-Lok quick release pins, hoist rings and lifting hardware.
