The Make & Elevate Manufacturing Leadership Series will take place September 12-14 to coincide with IMTS (International Manufacturing & Technology Show). The series offers two components: the three-day “Mastermind Forum” and a “One-Day to Elevate Workshop,” both designed to help manufacturing leaders take their businesses to the next level.

The Mastermind Forum, designed for a small group of executives, begins with a networking dinner at RPM Steak, allowing participants to get to know each other before the next day when they roll up their shirt sleeves and tackle mutual business challenges by leveraging their peers’ expertise. The One Day to Elevate Workshop will take place on the third day with a networking breakfast followed by a full day of workshops and speakers. Attendees will leave motivated and equipped with an action plan to implement change in their business.

The keynote speaker at the One Day to Elevate Workshop will be Jeremy Bout, host and executive producer of Edge Factor. Other speakers will cover a variety of topics from succession planning to workforce development to building a brand story. Confirmed speakers include Stacey Bales, President of Bales Metal Surface Solutions; Shannon Callarman, Content Director of Red Caffeine; Doug Harrison, Partner of B2B CFO; Patricia Miller, CEO of Matrix IV; Elena Valentine, CEO of Skill Scout; and Aaron Wiegel, President of Wiegel Tool Works.

Make & Elevate is sponsored and presented by the hosts of the manufacturing podcast, MakingChips: Jim Carr, owner of CARR Machine & Tool; and Jason Zenger, CEO of ZENGERS Industrial Supply. Carr and Zenger created MakingChips to empower manufacturing leaders by providing them with valuable resources to elevate their businesses.

“Our mission is to educate, enlighten and empower our listeners for professional growth,” states Carr. “Make and Elevate is the perfect opportunity to get some face-to-face time with our listeners, and help them take their business and leadership skills to the next level.”

Attendees who participate in the forum and/or workshop will have the opportunity to:

  • Engage with other manufacturing business owners
  • Learn best practices and innovative new approaches
  • Participate in hands-on exercises to apply new knowledge in a meaningful way
