Star Cutter has added Shop Solutions LLC of Columbia City, Ind., to its sales network to expand the company's presence within the medical industry. Shop Solutions, owned by Matt Dahms, specializes in manufacturing solutions for surgical tools used in orthopedic applications.

Sandvik has signed an agreement to acquire Canada-based ICAM Technologies Corp., a provider of innovative solutions that translate CAM data into optimized coding for guiding CNC machining operations.
