Dormer Pramet is launching a webinar series to occur the fourth Friday of every month. The first three sessions are open for enrollment. These 30-minute sessions, which will be led by round tool and indexable product experts, are free and designed to expand participants' knowledge of cutting tools. The webinars are geared toward professionals in the fields of sales, technical support and customer service. People may register through the Knowledge Base section of the Dormer Pramet website.

Jan. 26: Perfect Your Tap Routine—Tapping Basics, Featuring the Dormer Shark Taps

Learn how to make threads without breaking a sweat. Hear how to set up parameters, what to expect during the process and how to troubleshoot. This will be followed by tool selection recommendations.

Feb. 23: What Your Insert Can Tell You—Tool Wear, Featuring Pramet Grade Selection

A key element of expertise in indexable tools is to know how to read insert wear and adjust your process to achieve the best possible results. Learn all wear types, how to avoid them and what tools to use to get better performance.

March 23: Make Your Solid-Carbide Troubles Disappear—Troubleshooting Solid-Carbide Drills, Featuring Dormer ForceX

Learn how to drill like an expert with solid-carbide drills. Hear how to identify and solve obstacles during your processes and avoid possible troubles. This will be followed by tool selection recommendations.
