GEDIA Automotive has ordered an accessibility-adapted press-hardening line from AP&T. The adaptation means that the line will be designed to enable staff with physical disabilities to monitor and manage the process without hindrance.

Thomson miniature metric ball screws accomplish this with a unique multi-liner return system that maximizes the number of circuits and loaded balls in the nut. AP&T has received an order for a new, fully automatic press line for NKC Sweden's production facility in Gothenburg. The line will be used to manufacture various types of blanks for spherical bearing housings.
