As with the earlier 6-axis and 7-axis arms, the new range falls into three categories, FREEDOM Classic, FREEDOM Select and FREEDOM Ultimate, depending on the level of measuring precision required. Probing accuracy is certified to ISO 10360-12 and functionality is guaranteed up to 40 degrees Celsius. All models are easy-to-use, especially as probes and laser scanners can be hot-swapped without recalibration.

The BIG CAPTO C3 square holders for turning applications come in left and right orientation. The turning application holders—C3-180-BH16R-2058 and C3-180-BH16L-2058—are mono-block holders. Their insert clamps are tough and reliable, adding on to the already inherently high rigidity of mono-block holders. The resulting higher rigidity minimizes vibrations and movement during cutting, improving accuracy and efficiency.

The extremely narrow PNOZ m C0 has the structural properties of a safety relay but is as powerful as a configurable safety controller. It provides eight safe inputs and four safe semiconductor outputs at a width of just 22.5 mm. Up to four safety functions can be reliably monitored. These include E-STOP, safety gates, safety light curtains and two-hand control. Also on this standalone base unit, all safety circuits are created via the intuitive software tool PNOZmulti Configurator, the basic version of which is free of license costs and available on the Pilz website.

Utilizing ANCA's machine platforms with a robot cell, blanket grinding offers flexibility across a range of tool sizes and applications. Blanket grinding allows for full automation of tools of similar geometries, by consolidating all tool grinding processes into one single machine. A batch of complete finished tools can be produced without interruption directly from lengths of ground bar stock with no operator intervention.

The canopy fume hood's smooth surfaces provide superior chemical, corrosion, and heat resistance. Optional side panels prevent cross drafts and further improve airflow while providing a way to contain chemical spills. Stainless steel canopy hoods are available in custom sizes including 168" wide X 60" deep, and are available with optional baffles.

These hoods are fully compatible with the existing range of "21.21" enclosures and they are particularly suitable for CQ series inserts with a high number of individual conductors. When installed with the sealing kit (CKR-65 or CKR-65D), they provide IP66/67/69 degrees of protection.

A circular gas strut bracket enables installation in space-restricted areas, making them ideal for use in applications including automotive, industrial machinery, trunks, toolboxes, and furniture. Designed to suit 10 mm angle joint balls and 4 mm screws, countersunk screw holes remove the potential of catching fingers or material. Protrusion-free screw installation also makes them an ideal aesthetic choice for use in locations such as kitchens. The bracket is supplied in zinc-plated steel, giving durability and resistance to corrosion.n

Not all titanium is alike. Depending on whether it is pure titanium or alloyed titanium, the chip removing process behavior differs.
