The unit uses multiple spray nozzles on its circumference, providing a steady and pressurized stream. Each nozzle can be plugged or opened to create customized spray patterns. Added spindle rotation ensures that coolant reaches virtually everywhere inside the machine. Residing in the tool changer, and programmed just as any other, the Jergens Washdown Tool is deployed periodically at scheduled intervals. Shortly after Mike Winters started his company in his garage on Nov. 10, 1982, first as Winters Carbide Tools and now TJ Grinding, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, he had the good fortune of being at a K.O. Using Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibitor (VpCI®) technology, the bubbles protect a variety of metals, including carbon steel, aluminum, copper, brass, silver and stainless steels, without leaving film or residue on packaged items. CorShield® Bubble Bags are non-toxic and recyclable. Components that need protection are placed in the bags and in matter of hours, the vapor from the VpCI® bubbles saturates the enclosed airspace.

The miniature lead screw line is available with either standard or anti-backlash lead nuts to optimize positional accuracy, friction and repeatability. The anti-backlash lead nut design reduces friction between the nut and screw threads in order to optimize efficiency while still eliminating play between the lead screw and nut.

The swivel feet with a steel double bolt down base includes two screw holes enabling secure surface attachment. The threaded female design accepts inserts from M6 up to M16 while the foot diameter varies from 40mm to 100mm. XPlanar now provides greater traceability through ID technology integrated into the mover bumper. The ID functionality enables unique identification of XPlanar movers by reading the mover's individual serial number.
