Photochemical etching components for aerospace applications
News April 14, 2022
Photochemical etching components for aerospace applications
When manufacturing parts for critical aerospace applications, it is vital that the process chosen is not only cost-effective and allows adherence to time-to-market objectives, but is also able to adhere to tight tolerances and produces accurate parts at the right volume with minimal waste.
Machine Monitoring

Machine Monitoring
Done in real time and remotely, Seco Machine Monitoring solutions sample production data on a continuous basis to build a full picture of what happens on a manufacturer's shop floor and beyond. These insights build an in-depth profile of daily activity and trigger alerts for onsite response or remote notification of production- critical metrics.
Couplings

Couplings
The recently added couplings of aluminum and stainless steel include designs for positive and non-positive connections. Multiple bore diameters, various, stiffness and hardness levels of the coupling body as well as an optional keyway allow very specific customization to the given use case. In general, all couplings compensate for offsets and misalignments, accommodate runout error and axial motion, and dampen vibrations and impacts to varying degrees.

Oil Shear Crane Motor Brakes Brochure
Elimination of the wear significantly increases service life and virtually eliminates adjustment and maintenance. These totally enclosed brakes are impervious to the dirt that are common in manufacturing environments. In addition to cranes, Force Control oil shear motor brakes are ideal for applications where the motor is reversed each cycle such as elevators for green or cured concrete products, conveyors, loaders/unloaders, stackers, and more.
Max Drill Press Guard
Products April 12, 2022
Max Drill Press Guard
A spring-loaded plunger assembly securely locks the guard in a closed position whenever the guard is in the operating position. When released, the guard hinges up, allowing instant access. The guard is made from strong, injection, molded high impact polycarbonate which offers clear and safe vision through body and visor.
MERLIC 5.1 Software
Products April 7, 2022
MERLIC 5.1 Software
MERLIC 5.1 includes a new tool for optical character recognition that is based on HALCON's Deep OCR technology. Compared to other algorithms, this holistic deep-learning-based approach can localize characters much more robustly, regardless of their orientation, font type, polarity, and it requires significantly less parameter tuning. Recognition performance is further increased by the automatic grouping of characters. This allows the identification of whole words and thus reduces the chance of misinterpretation of similar-looking characters. This new tool does not require the Deep Learning Add-On and is therefore already included in the entry level package MERLIC 5.1 S.
Hazardous Location Connectors

Hazardous Location Connectors
Mencom Hazardous Location Connectors series is designed to meet stringent electrical requirements for protection under Class I Division 2 environments and certified by Underwriters' Laboratories (UL). 'Class I' is defined as a hazardous location in which flammable gas or vapor may be present in sufficient quantities to be considered ignitable or explosive. 'Division 2' is defined as an area that is not likely to contain dangerous concentrations of flammable substances in closed containers. Common Class I Division 2 hazardous locations include refineries, utility gas plants, coal mines, and liquid-gas storage facilities.
