Originally launching in 2016, the microScan3 is an extremely intelligent and durable safety laser scanner that enhances machine availability and productivity due to its safeHDDM scanning technology. It provides flexibility for safe automation processes with simultaneous protective fields, contour detection fields, and detailed data output. In addition, the microScan3 offers a 9-meter protective field range with a scanning angle of 275o.

This compact model, measuring a mere 49mm/54mm in length and the central bore hole with a diameter of 37.5mm/ 46.5mm, provides technicians with the flexibility and user-friendliness necessary for carrying out application tests on automotive parts, such as coaxial transmissions or gearboxes.n

These tools, from clearance calculation to wall thickness analysis, form a comprehensive combination of complementary functions for digital product development - something otherwise reserved for expensive CAD systems. Together, with an intuitive interface, these features support users from different fields of expertise in making quick and reliable decisions.n

The GEMVM system measures acceleration in up to three axes (depending upon sensor type) with a measuring frequency of up to 5.6kHz and a sampling rate of 25kHz. It has eight definable and selectable operating modes with five freely activatable static alarms. Any events that violate the predefined hard stop limits are logged in the event memory with relevant information for later analysis.n

The TiM240 is the first variant in the TiM2xx series and has an enclosure rating of IP65 for indoor use. The TiM240 scans a 240° area up to 10m away at speeds up to 15 times per second. This allows the user to cover a relatively large space (200m2) with one scanner and to quickly transmit any measurement changes to the controller via Ethernet. The tried-and-proven HDDM+ technology guarantees the stable and reliable output of measurement data. The low power consumption of 2.9 watts becomes a particular advantage when used in battery-operated vehicles.n

The clever design features 5 rows of clamping with 12 "fingers" on each row that flex and conform to part dimensional variations as well. One toggle lever clamps all five bands and draws them down securely for the dot peen marking operation. Custom configurations and pneumatic powered designs are also available.

The 5074B also comes with two features that deliver major operational improvements. The new amplifier is ready to operate within around six seconds, as compared to the previous time of 30 seconds for each startup procedure – so users save valuable time. This improvement has a direct impact on plant availability, especially for modular plants with swappable hot-plug modules. Another innovation: the two energy paths in the M8 connectors are now separated so that additional standard devices can be connected as per the industry standard without extra considerations.

Powered by Artec 3D's AI neural engine, users can obtain sharp 3D scans with a resolution of up to 0.2 mm. Trained on hundreds of thousands of carefully selected samples, the engine's neural network detects familiar patterns, surface details and shapes. This allows the 3D scanner to reconstruct a higher number of polygons per frame, resulting in 3D data that's both denser and higher quality. Now, the desired HD density can be selected from a standard 1X density up to 36X for Eva (~3 mln polygons per frame) and 64X for Leo (~5 mln polygons per frame).
