WBH20C WL25 indexable inserts are full-radius copy turning inserts with Walter Lock positive engagement. The WL positive engagement provides maximum stability and precision for reliable machining of contours. With pocket support right under the cutting edge, and exceptional ability to prevent vibrations; the WL positive engagement is substantially better than the conventional V-shaped or even full radius grooving inserts.

The coating's mechanical post-treatment induces a unique state of residual stress in the layer surface, which in turn increases process security. The DRAGONSKIN grade CTCP425-P with advanced AL2O3-TiN CVD coating is particularly well suited for when uninterrupted cuts are required. It delivers excellent wear resistance even at increased cutting speeds.

KBN020 excels as a 1st choice, general purpose CBN grade with a broad application range from continuous to heavily interrupted machining. Utilizing innovative new layering techniques, Kyocera has developed the MEGACOAT TOUGH coating technology. This coating combines a highly wear-resistant layer on the surface adhered to high-content CBN which is used to toughen up the edge for greater fracture resistance when encountering interruptions.

The down-thrust clamp GN 9192 made from case-hardened steel can be fastened to a machine table with T-slots or to a fixture plate. The clamping arm can then be swiveled by hand and positioned over the inserted workpiece in any position.

SDM chipbreaker features unique T-land with variable widths and optimized rake angle that provide the insert with resistance against notch wear. Difficult metals like HRSAs are prone to cause notch wear on the insert cutting edge that can severely deteriorate insert tool life.

Lockable indexing plungers GN 814 of stainless steel have the same basic functions as JW Winco's tried and tested selection of indexing plungers. What's new is the clever addition of a locking function for greater safety and security. This is accomplished with a lock integrated into the black plastic head.
