Working on 5 axes allows the use of shorter tools to increase the feeds and the cutting speed. With a machine equipped with this technology, it is easier to carry out complex operations with 5-side access to the part including: complete profiling, the undercut working, the through holes, and the creation of pockets.

Toyoda's FH5000S HMCs with 60-tool ATC capacity are designed for speed and production reliability, featuring a 15,000 RPM, 50 HP (37 kW), 303 Nm (223 ft-lbs.) high acceleration spindle. The 40-taper spindle is designed with four ceramic bearings at the front of the spindle for increased rigidity and reduced vibration. Its patented hydraulic preload system brings the spindle up to 15,000 RPM less than one second without spindle warm-up, ideal for aluminum processing. The larger machines in the FH5000 series are equipped with a 50-taper spindle, 45 tools, and a longer X axis travel.

As more options come onto the market, choosing what is right for a specific business becomes more challenging.

The C 1800H is part of the company's C series heavy-duty flatbed CNC lathes. Each model is built with Romi-made monoblock cast iron beds with hardened and ground guideways for optimum rigidity, accuracy, and performance. The C1800H features a 114 hp main motor and a geared A2-20" headstock with Timken precision bearings. It has a robust tailstock with thrust force monitoring and compensation system.

These new Swiss-type machines use a collet plus single-motor ball spline drive for heightened accuracy and reduced material waste. A 10,000 rpm spindle and a variable vibrating system ensure the utmost in stable, repeatable performance. SYNCREX machines accommodate a maximum of 35 tools in a standard configuration: 22 static and 13 live. An exclusively designed automated tool setter checks, measures and sets up tools to optimize the process, allowing shops to reduce setup times from days to hours and regain valuable cut time.n

The MVR-Hx series was developed based on the concept of a machine that is easy to use without thermal displacement for users who pursue high precision and high efficiency. It is equipped with thorough thermal countermeasures, such as an internal spindle cooling system that suppresses thermal expansion of the spindle and the main structure that is less susceptible to environmental temperature changes. It can also be used for a wide range of processes, from dies and molds or other machining that require high surface quality to general parts machining, and for all types of materials from light to heavy cutting.

The MVR-Cx series is a simple, easy-to-use machine that efficiently performs single-item and high-mix low-volume production in machining general large parts such as can structures. The newly developed "Nidec Navi" operation support function, which significantly reduces the production time from receiving a job to shipping a product, comes as a standard feature. A wide variety of original screens are available to simplify initial machining settings, such as program creation, debugging, and centering of the workpiece before machining, which used to be time-consuming in one-product and high-mix low-volume productions.

The core of these joints is always the locking plates with their precisely aligned serrations as well as their adjustment based on positive and nonpositive connections. Alongside the exact serration shape, the division of the teeth is also very important. Winco relies on typical tooth configurations, which allow important and specific adjustments in incremental steps of 6, 7.5, 10 and 15 degrees.

The series includes the VT 1400M, VT 2000M, VT 2500M, VT 3000M, VT 5000 and VT 6000 with table sizes from 1,400 (55") to 6,000mm (236) with maximum turning diameter from 1,600mm (63") up to 7,000mm (276") and maximum height allowed from 1,650 (65") to 4,000mm (157").

This machining center series can be flexibly configured to completely machine larger-sized structural parts which require maximum surface quality and dimensional accuracy, as well as high production rates and minimal downtime. Users will benefit from the machine's compact layout, available robot or gantry automation, and fully independent Z and X-direction spindles

An in-house Tormach professional will install, align, and test all pre-installed components (if partial assembly is chosen) and major systems to the machines for full assembly. This allows customers to speed up the time to commission their new machines quickly at their shop once they arrive.
