The Cutmaster X 90 and Cutmaster X 110 from Thermal Dynamics, an ESAB brand, feature a new arc starting mechanism that the company says has no moving parts, and starts the arc within a few thousandths of a second after establishing airflow.

The XPR460 plasma cutting system from Hypertherm cuts mild steel, stainless steel, steel and aluminum.
