J.W. Winco Inc. offers GN 253 vibration/shock absorption mounts in inch and metric sizes. These RoHS-compliant mounts are also known as shock absorbing mounts, vibration mounts, antivibration mounts, vibration bobbins or rubber bumpers.

PFERD INC. says its latest depressed-center grinding wheels feature an advanced pure ceramic-oxide grain that delivers excellent stock-removal rates, long service life and cost-cutting performance. Ideally suited for working with steel and stainless steel, the new wheels, designated CO 24 Q SG, have a hardness grade Q and excel at a variety of applications, including weld grinding, chamfering, deburring and surface grinding.

Saint-Gobain Abrasives has introduced Norton QUANTUM3 (NQ3) depressed-center grinding wheels. Featuring a proprietary grain along with a tough bond system that contains a unique combination of fillers and bonding agents that reportedly allow for much better mix quality in manufacturing, NQ3 provides substantially faster grinding for more metal removal and longer wheel life, with less operator fatigue, to significantly increase grinding output.

TechMet Carbides Inc. says its Flute-Tech diamond grinding wheels have a universal hybrid bond system that performs better than polyimide bond systems at a similar price point. The diamond wheels are easy to true and dress on conventional truing equipment and are suitable for use with all spindle powers.

CGW-Camel Grinding Wheels introduced an improved bond used in manufacturing vitrified wheels for the surface grinding, cylindrical and centerless wheel categories.
