LENOX introduces the CircTech Precision CM 100 circular saw blade, a new product in the LENOX industrial circular saw blade lineup, designed for optimal performance when cutting carbon steels and mild alloys.

The new Wavy bandsaw blade from Bahco is a customized blade designed and engineered specifically for tough cutting applications, including high-nickel alloys, Rene-type materials and superalloys. The Wavy Bandsaw Blade concept can be applied to any Bahco bimetal or carbide bandsaw blade.

Sandvik Coromant has unveiled a new blade for its CoroCut QD parting-off system, which in combination with new process methodology, substantially improves the tool's stability by realigning the resultant cutting force. Simonds Saw has announced hat its European partner, WESPA, has introduced the ability to produce instant "blade-to-machine" data transfer of machine-specific cutting parameters for its Individual Performance Cutting (IPC) custom bandsaw blades program. This instant data transfer technology directly supports the Industry 4.0 concept.

A saw and track system for accurately cutting pressure vessels up to 60" in diameter in preparation for hydrostatic testing and complete fabrication is being introduced by Esco Tool. The Esco APS-438 Air Powered Saw and WrapTrack trolley lets operators rapidly cold cut vessels from 6" to 60" in diameter with ±1/16" accuracy to permit better bevels for subsequent welding.

Controx-Neuhauser solid-carbide blades are available in widths from 0.005" and width tolerances of 0.0002", are suitable for precision cutting applications like dicing semiconductors, such as surface mounted-devices (SMD) resistor chips. They feature tight diameter tolerance within one set of blades, which allows them to cut through the chips and into but not through foil of the wafer.

The 3868 Carbide Triple Set "Xtra" TSX bandsaw blade from Bahco is engineered to be versatile in cutting materials well on both vertical and horizontal bandsaw machines.

Seco Tools line of 150.10‑JETI family of parting-off blades and square-shank blocks now includes a new VDI block design. Adapters directly hold the 150.10-JETI parting-off blades onto the VDI turret and offer streamlined delivery of high-pressure coolant to the cutting zone without the use of hoses.

A pneumatic saw and clamp system that eliminates torch cutting and lets users produce clean accurate cuts on thick steel plate fast with no heat affect zone (HAZ) is available from ESCO Tool.

Simonds Saw introduces QUAD 7 carbide-tipped bandsaw blades for demanding production cutting operations, such as steel service centers, foundries and aerospace sawing applications. QUAD 7 blades are suitable for alloy; high chrome alloy; Inconel and other nickel-based alloys; titanium block and plate; stainless steels; and mold, tool and bearing steels.
