Effectively used for hard turning, gear grinding, drilling, milling and more, COMOT-AZ provides low deformation clamping of thin-walled workpieces and offers a large selection of standard collets available in round, square, hexagonal, and special configurations when needed for virtually all sizes of spindles.

The anti-friction coating reduces radial distortion helping improve run-out. Parlec P3 ER collets have a repeatably accuracy of 0.0001" and are sealed for coolant pressures up to 2,000 PSI due to a special slotting design.

Manufacturing high quality, high performance tools requires the Total Indicator Runout to be perfect or minimal for overall tool life and surface finish. Runout on blanks before grinding can be achieved by either spending a certain amount of time for work holding setup or alternatively, compensating the runout in software.

The ANCA Insert Solution, based on the MX tool grinding machine platform, offers work-holding, automation and supporting tool programming software to produce a diverse range of rotary endmill and drill inserts. Inserts that feature common locating datums and clamping features are an ideal fit for the ANCA Insert Solution.

For machining close to the O.D. or I.D. of a workpiece, the Type 01 Adapter extends drills or endmills away from the face of the toolholder for much needed additional reach. Plus, the adapters allow for offline tool presetting for the next job while the machine continues to work uninterrupted.

Speeders improve surface finish and reduce cycle times when machining small holes and soft materials, without lengthy acceleration ramps. Reducers optimize the lower speed, higher torque requirements of large holes and tough materials without sacrificing horsepower. In-line holders utilize ER style collets and are available on extensions to machine between chuck jaws.

Round smooth, round serrated, hex smooth, and square smooth sizes are available for W&S (all sizes), S-style (all sizes), Gisholt, Jones & Lamson, and Martin collet pad types, allowing more varied geometries can be securely gripped. The ability to quickly change between sizes allows shops to expand their machining capabilities, increase their machine cycles by up to 30%, and maximize production.

The Micro End Mills feature a patented neck design with up to 10x diameter, enabling reach into deep contours. For optimal machining performance, a high radial bending strength withstands alternating stress on the cutting edge and relieved neck.

More cost-effective than comparable systems but just as easy on tools, the AB735 synchronous threading adaptor maximizes tool performance. In addition to the minimized wear, the modular design of the adaptor also contributes to cost-efficiency: Exchangeable front pieces for different thread sizes or tool diameters (ER16 to ER32) can be used with the same collet.

The new set of packages allows manufacturers to get started with powRgrip as quickly as possible for their particular toolholding needs. Packages includes a PGC-A handpump clamping unit, five toolholders and 10 PG collets. Holders are available with CAT 40, BT 30, HSK-A63 and HSK-E40 interfaces with standard collets in PH10, PG15, and PG25 sizes.

The 2-jaw module can handle turning applications up to 1,500 RPM. Due to its compact profile, it is the perfect alternative to large and heavy centric vises. The 2-jaw and 3-jaw module use the HAINBUCH collet chuck as their base.
