Aluma Cling-Red Cleans and Brightens Aluminum With No Scrubbing

Madison Chemical introduces ALUMA-CLING RED, a viscous gel containing a balanced blend of surfactants and acids which removes severe sub-surface stains caused by tramp staining oxidation which results from condensation, foul water, inadvertent soiling, and white oxidation from aluminum, especially hot rolled, pickled and oiled (HRPO) materials.

Normally intended to clean and etch aluminum, it may also be used with mild steel, stainless steel, and copper. Easily applied at full strength by pump, spray, or manually wiping or brushing, ALUMA-CLING RED reduces the number of steps to obtain a clean, bright surface. Easy to use, this proven formulation can help manufacturers and fabricators to clean and use aluminum that might otherwise be scrapped due to staining issues. In addition to removing sub-surface staining, it is ideal for removing soil and laser scale, heat treat scale, and white oxidation from aluminum, aluminum substrates, mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and more.

For best results use ALUMA-CLING RED at full strength (100%) at room temperature.  Contact time varies with soil loading and application. Rinse thoroughly with water after use.  Madison Chemical Technical Sales Representatives are available to assist in determining dilutions, dwell time, standard operating procedures and more, to achieve optimal results.

It is recommended that pumps, tubing, fittings, and any other components which will be in regular contact with ALUMA-CLING RED be constructed of or coated with Teflon®, Viton®, Kynar® (PVDF), polypropylene to 72°F, and polyethylene to 72°F.

    brushing

Generic term for a curve whose shape is controlled by a combination of its control points and knots (parameter values). The placement of the control points is controlled by an application-specific combination of order, tangency constraints and curvature requirements. See NURBS, nonuniform rational B-splines.
