Allied Machine & Engineering Corp.'s BT-A drill is a replaceable-tip, single-tube BTA tool for deep-hole drilling. The drill accepts the company's T-A inserts, including the GEN2 T-A to maximize penetration rates and tool life, according to the company. The tool's balanced cutting reportedly allows increased feed rates.
