combiFlex Rotary Table

March 12, 2012

This unique system called "combiFlex" introduced by Peter Lehmann AG and available from Rotec Tools Ltd. offers a huge flexibility on the new Lehmann 500 rotary-table product line. The four base modules (EA-507, 510, 520, 530) allow users to create over 170 different variations and combinations ranging from a simple single-axis 4th, with option of multiple spindles to a mounted tilt-rotary table 4th-5th axis.

The modular design lets customers change or upgrade existing rotary table configuration when the application changes. It is possible to transfer the rotary table to a different machine and adapt to the new set-up. It is also possible to change the rotary table if the work-pieces change in size or weight.

Lehmann is already known in the market for its compact, powerful design. With this new feature customers find ways fitting 4th or 4th-5th axis tables in a much smaller working envelope. New generations of "compact" machining centers can offer 5-axis machining with integration of a new compact Lehmann rotary table.
