EB Manufacturing Co. Inc. offers a line of compensating chucks equipped with a floating jaw mechanism for holding eccentric workpieces, particularly for the firearms, automotive, aerospace and medical industries. Two- and 3-jaw models are available from 6" to 18" in diameter. An 1⁄8" compensation per jaw is provided. As a chuck grips a part, it compensates for the irregularity between the ID and OD. When the part is turned, the chuck centers it and turns the OD concentric to the ID.
