The new RCT85, for larger sizes, taps 10 ½-13 holes, 1” deep in 18 seconds. For fastest cycle time, Tapmatic offers CST (constant-speed tapping) attachments. Within every CST tool is a self-reversing mechanism that eliminates two machine reversals for each tapped hole. This allows the machine to maintain constant speed throughout the thread cutting operation, which is good for the tap, good for the machine and, by reducing energy consumption, good for the environment.
