OSG USA Inc., St. Charles, Illinois, introduces the new HY-PRO CARB ALD carbide drill series designed for non-ferrous materials. The HY-PRO CARB ALD HP343 and HP355 are engineered to deliver exceptional performance and precision.

The drill series features:

  • a double margin for improved stability and hole straightness,
  • polished flutes that allow for smooth chip evacuation and reduced built-up edge at the cutting edge,
  • X-thinning and R-gash for sharp and smooth cutting at the center,
  • a straight cutting edge for lower thrust force at high speeds,
  • large chip pockets to enhance chip evacuation while maintaining stability,
  • and an h6 reinforced shank compatible with standard tool holders.
