With its left and right spindles and upper and lower turrets, Okuma America Corp. reports that the LT-2000EX-MY horizontal lathe enables complete production on a single machine. The upper and lower turrets can be combined with either spindle to balance primary and secondary operations. The company will introduce an optional third turret in mid-2011.
