OPEN MIND Technologies AG has developed a performance package of the hyperMILL CAM software suite. MAXX Machining offers three powerful modules for finishing, roughing and drilling on planar, ruled and curved surfaces often found in aerospace parts and other complex 5-axis components.
MAXX Machining increases productivity and decreases costs in manufacturing operations, according to the company. Up to a 90 percent reduction in finishing time can be achieved using conical barrel cutters with MAXX Machining compared to using ballnose endmills.
OPEN MIND's hyperMILL 2017.2 is the newest release of the hyperMILL CAM suite, including MAXX Machining technology. New hyperMILL 2017.2 has been enhanced to provide users a broad array of features to improve manufacturing processes with speed and flexibility.
