Northfield Precision Instrument Corp., a leader in the design and manufacture of precision workholding chucks, introduces their latest custom chuck, Model 450L. To the top of a standard model 450 air chuck (0.0001" T.I.R.), they have mounted aluminum pie jaws with custom flex inserts bolted to the jaws. The flexing inserts compensate for any out of roundness in the workpiece.
