The QTE-100 MY CNC turning center with multi-tasking capabilities from Mazak is designed for high-speed and high-precision turning in a space-saving design, the company says.

The QTE-100 MY has a 6" chuck that processes parts up to 11.42" in diameter. It has a built-in motor spindle designed to provide high torque even in the low-speed range for higher cutting capacity, the company adds.

Shops can select a 12-position drum turret along with a range of turning, milling, Y-axis and second spindle specifications to suit specific production requirements. Equipped with the Mazak Mazatrol SmoothEz CNC, the QTE-100 MY offers both EIA/ISO G-Code and conversational programming, giving manufacturers infinite part production possibilities.
