This VisionLab-150 3D Fastener Gauging System from General Inspection LLC. features patented 3D gaging technology that the company says provides complete part dimensional inspection in less than 5 seconds. The machine can perform 360-degree dimensional inspection with detailed data reporting, plus options to provide 360-degree visual defect detection, end-view inspection, and measure recess depth and recess concentricity.

The QL2 combination pallet is the newest addition to Jergens' Quick-Loc line of quick-change products, which offers both 96mm and 52mm hole patterns in a single unit. For dimensional inspection, three cameras, one positioned from the side, one from the bottom and one from the top measures all profile features including threads, lengths, diameters, and angles. In addition to the dimensional inspection, the Gi-100DT detects surface defects on the top and bottom using three additional cameras to detect internal and external visual defects (360 degrees without part rotation). The surface defects include dents, scratches, chatter, pitting, and chips.

MOCAP has added a new protective solution to its product catalog: its BNCD Series of Domed Bolt and Nut Caps. Designed to provide both protection and a finished appearance, the company says these caps are "ideal for covering exposed bolt and nut heads in a variety of industrial, commercial, and consumer applications."
