The HCN-6800 NEO received numerous upgrades that take the previous generation's performance to a new level of efficiency and ease-of-use. The standard spindle, table, and magazine have all received significant improvements, including an upgraded, new standard 43-tool drum-type magazine that reduces tool exchange times. A redesigned ATC door is now servo-driven and faster; the new design will now also accommodate a longer tool. Likewise, for ease of maintenance, the machine incorporates hydraulic/motorized pallet changer mechanisms and an easier-to-access maintenance panel.

High tool life is achieved thru WEP10C coated cermet grade with multilayer TiCN TiAlN PVD coating and fine cermet micro grain. The combination of edge preparation and grade also ensures dimensional stability over long periods of time, which boosts productivity in mass productionn

The VGP20 provides unlimited cup and airflow customization and multichannel functionality, allowing it to be deployed on multiple items of different shapes and sizes. Additionally, the VGP20 gripper's built-in intelligence, combined with its easy-to-use software, provides precise air flow control functionality that is beyond the capabilities of traditional pneumatic grippers. This functionality allows users to vary the type of grip used in different applications, such as the soft grip used to handle delicate items to the hard grip required for handling bulky, heavy cardboard boxes with porous surfaces.

In terms of speed, all machines now accelerate at 1,900 mm/s2, representing an increase of 15% for the two smaller models and 20% for the largest model. Velocity is up by 38% across the product range to 720 mm/s. As regards accuracy, maximum permissible measuring error on all machines is now 1.7+L/333 µm when measurements are taken of a feature L millimeters in length between 18°C and 22°C, irrespective of whether a TP200, SP25, TP20 or PH20 probe is used. This performance represents length measurement accuracy improvements of 22%, 22%, 32% and 43% for the four respective probes, while maximum permissible probing error is also better and so also is repeatability of measurements by 15% when using a PH20.

The M18 FUEL™ 4-1/2" / 5" Grinders will be available May 2021, followed by the M18 FUEL™ 4-1/2" / 5" Braking Grinders w/ ONE-KEY™ available Summer 2021. The Powered Lifting Hand Truck not only compliments the Magliner catalog of 2 wheel hand trucks, but it also enhances the line-up of LiftPlus® powered stackers. The Powered Lifting Hand Truck, while having a lower lifting capacity compared to the LiftPlus units, will be well received for use in tight areas where other stackers, or for that matter, fork trucks are overkill or simply have too large of a footprint.

BOLD Laser Automation put into development of a cost-effective, modular UR Cobot loader unloader for laser-based microfabrication applications called the LPF-UR5P Series (Laser Precision Fabricator – UR Cobot 5 – Pallet System), including options for laser drilling, trimming, welding, marking, and laser soldering. With a UR Robot part placement of ±0.030 mm (±0.0012"), the system is an excellent process automation choice. With onboard or remote camera alignment options, an assembly to be processed can be picked up, aligned, and inserted into a processing fixture automatically.

V-PRIME grinding wheels significantly increase productivity and reduce cycle times due to requiring lower grinding forces and permitting higher feed rates. User-friendly off-line dressing optimizes grinding wheel preparation, saving time and cost. The new wheels also offer an excellent price/ performance ratio.n

With the addition of more standard, vacuum compatible hexapods, the load range of 5 to 80kg is covered; custom models for loads up to 1 ton have been designed as well. The hexapods provide very high resolution and repeatability to 0.1µm and 2 µrad, respectively. The vacuum series was designed from the ground up for vacuum compatibility, with each component qualified to work under the specified conditions. Everything, from the base materials, nuts and bolts, encoders, cables, limit switches, was selected for optimal performance.
