The MYNXG Edge SIIC² PLC Connector uses a secure mobile architecture with trusted platform modules (TPM) at the device level and hardware security modules (HSM) at the MYNXG cloud. The Phoenix Contact PLCnext Control is TPM protected and tightly connected with the Edge SIIC² PLC Connector. Together, this creates an end-to-end protection for both devices and their data, capable to meet all cyber security aspects of the ISA/IEC 62443. With this approach, Phoenix Contact PLCnext controls make the ProfiNet and ProfiBus solutions better and highly secure.

EcoFilter Conveyor

The second generation EcoFilter® utilizes an innovative two-stage metal chip removal and coolant filtration design. A hinged steel belt conveyor handles primary removal of large chips. In a secondary process, a flow-through filtration cell separates fines from coolant. Heavy duty brushes attached to the bottom side of the belt wipe these fines from the surface of the filter cell, where they flow to the bottom of the conveyor via the patent pending CleanCleat®. Standard angle cleats on the bottom run of the conveyor belt then scrape the separated fine chips back to the top of the belt for discharge.n

TwinCAT IoT Supports MindSphere

TwinCAT 3 automation software can communicate with HTTP(S) servers as an HTTP(S) client, for example for exchanging data via a REST API. Establishing a connection with MindSphere® is now also possible via this HTTPS communication for exchanging telemetry data. This connection is secured by TLS (Transport Layer Security) and uses MindSphere®-specific authentication mechanisms.
