SintoGrind HSS-X 1400 is suitable for flute-, thread-, profile-, internal and external cylindrical grinding of steel materials such as HSS, PM and medical steels. SintoGrind HSS-X 1400 is low foaming, prevents surface burning, inhibits burr development, is low misting and offers excellent filterability.

The diamond PCBN inserts deliver high-precision performance and excellent surface finish in materials including hardened and heat-treated steels up to 72 HRc, high speed steel (HSS), high alloyed steels hardened to 45 HRc and higher, super Ni based alloys, grey cast iron, ductile, and graphite.

The MQ150SU is a sealed unit version of the company's popular MQ150, featuring an internal synthetic lubrication system and grease packed bearings for long life and operation in any position. The feed unit uses a ball screw on the center line of a hardened, precision, 55mm diameter quill. It is precision ground, pre-loaded with zero backlash. An involute spline driven spindle uses EP7 high precision bearings and the unit features an HSK-32C Spindle nose supplied connection with clamping cartridge assembly.n

Stainless steel assembly pins from the GN 2342 series are available in all common diameters from 8 to 20 millimeters and in various standardized lengths. Three different end washer forms and the selection by means of a specific code number between assembly pin with and without transverse spring cotter pin holes diversify the series even further.n

Made in the USA, both VFD kits are also suited for smaller garage/machine shops, mills, lathes, and grinders. Adaptable to most applications, the VFD kits can run the motor on 220V single-phase incoming power vs. requiring three-phase power – eliminating the need for a phase converter convenient package, it can go up to 5,000 RPMs in high gear–10-15% higher than the standard milling machine could do. Unlike early VFD kits, these provide full-torque at the lowest RPM.

The insert and pocket design features an axial key stop for added stability against the side cutting (axial) forces. This expansion includes two new TCL18 inserts with 1.75 mm and 2.5 mm thicknesses, expanding the existing line of 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, and 3.0 mm inserts. The inserts are available in grade AH7025, a nano-multilayer PVD coating with high-aluminum content that provides hardness and adhesion to the grade for better process security during grooving operations.
