The Bantam Tools Desktop CNC Milling Machine is fast, easy to set up, and omes with software that allows for predictable outcomes, including automatic material location, effectively bringing aluminum prototyping to an accessible and affordable level that has not been seen in this category.

Tangentially mounted grooving insert with a robust seating surface also ensures maximum stability. The insert and pocket design features an axial key stop for added stability against the side cutting (axial) forces. Precision cooling on the flank surface is offered as a standard feature for longer tool life.

The milling machines produce more parts, faster and with better tolerances than standard manual machines. In addition, they are simple to set up and operate. Another key feature is the Fagor Automatic controls that offer the most cost-effective solution in chip making profitability. This combination ensures faster programming, set-up and machining.

This expansion includes two new TCL18 inserts with 1.75 mm and 2.5 mm thicknesses, expanding the existing line of 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, and 3.0 mm inserts. The inserts are available in grade AH7025, a nano-multilayer PVD coating with high-aluminum content that provides hardness and adhesion to the grade for better process security during grooving operations.

This system features a highly accurate geometry with the most positive helix angle possible to reduce the likelihood of surface mismatches and enable impressive 90-degree angle accuracy. With such precision, finishing cycle times are significantly shortened or, in some cases, completely eliminated.

PCD- and CBN-tipped engraving tools are offered in standard or customized dimensions; as semi-finished or finished (incl. side-cut); with highest reachable surface qualities.

The canopy hood is molded one piece seamless of advanced composite resins that have superior chemical and corrosion resistance, are flame retardant and lightweight for a NO RUST guarantee. The corner canopy can either be wall mounted or suspended from the ceiling and can be equipped with optional side wall panels to prevent cross drafts from affecting the containment of fumes.

The two new machines, models MTV 1000 and MTV 1250 offering 8,000 rpm/700 ft lbs. of torque and 4,500 rpm/1,200 ft lbs. plus 200 bar/3,000 psi high pressure coolant for integrated turning, are joining the STC-MTV family of horizontal machining centers.

The capability to keep eighty tools resident with high horsepower motors means heavy metal removal and flexibility. B-axis surfacing with up to 135 travel handles up to ½" diameter tooling.

The SimpliVac Vacuum optimizes sample impregnation in a faster more automated way and also allows lab technicians to set multiple cycles to complete the mounting process faster. SimpliVac can also accommodate larger samples due to its oversized chamber and sample tray insert, which creates a large flat surface for larger mounts.

With five models built from two frame sizes, the UNE Series can drill hole diameters from 1.4 mm to 40 mm and depths up to 3,000 mm. The compact frame construction saves valuable floor space as well. Each machine can fit in close proximity to a shop's existing machining center, lathe or Swiss-style machine for efficient part-processing strategies.
