At the core of M-Series systems is the patented* IntelliCentric-M Optical System which features fixed optics with a 20-megapixel camera and proprietary Virtual Zoom. In MERLIC 5.6, some methods that were previously available on a test basis have been transferred to completely new tools. These tools are: "Count with Deep Learning", "Segment Image Pixel-Precisely", and "Recognize Color". With "Count with Deep Learning", also known as Deep Counting, it is possible to count a large number of objects quickly and robustly with little training effort.

Because of the ground chip breaker on these inserts, the inserts are handed (left hand and right hand insert), but these are standard ISO shapes and sizes- so they are held in conventional ISO turning holders.

Based on the Easy-Cut, the new and improved RushCut is a fully enclosed semi-automatic cut- off machine, designed for quick and easy cutting of carbide rod, high speed steel, and tool ends with diameters between 1/8′′ (3.175 mm) to 1-1/4′′ (31.75 mm).

Available with or without a keyway, Stafford Weldable Flange Collars are ideal for attaching gears, pulleys, sprockets, and other devices. They come in sizes ranging from 3/8" I.D. to 3" I.D. and specials can be made in other sizes and from weldable 316 stainless steel.

Chuck-diameter-specific versions, and adjustable boring rings are available from 6-18-inches in diameter. Both styles feature no-tools attachment. Dillon jaw forming rings are a high-quality product which will ensure years of quick, stress-free set-ups when paired with Dillon jaws.

The addition to the "TPW / EPW Type" series includes CBN inserts designed for high-speed cast iron finishing. In addition to the economical 2-corner standard insert, a wiper insert option is also available to achieve excellent surface finish. The insert grade is High-content CBN "BX480," which consists of densely bonded medium-grain CBN.

The new AM Type insert is designed for non-ferrous metal machining, featuring a sharp cutting edge achieved through ground peripheral surface and polished rake face to a mirror-like finish. This design reduces built-up edge during machining and ensures a high-quality, glossy surface finish.

The new Neutral AJ Type inserts for non-ferrous metals join this lineup. Like their right-hand counterparts, these new inserts feature ground peripheral surface and polished rake face with a mirror-like finish for sharp cutting edges. This prevents the built-up edges to the cutting edge during machining, and achieving a high-quality, glossy finish.
