JETCAM announced the launch of new versions of its core nesting software for CNC punch and profiling technologies, JETCAM Expert, and JETCAM Orders Controller (JOC) automation software.

Shops that struggle to maximize end-mill tool life when machining tough materials can now achieve 25 to 40 percent longer life with new Jabro-Solid2 JS750 endmills from Seco Tools. Designed specifically for the aerospace sector, the new JS754 and JS755 tools provide cost-effective high performance to tackle that industry's challenging materials, including ISO M (stainless steel) and S (heat-resistant superalloys and titanium).

The amount of pressure exerted by a typical hydraulic press can exceed 3,000 psi. Because of this tremendous force, high-velocity debris or shrapnel can be ejected from the press during normal operation, resulting in serious and even fatal injuries to the machinist or bystanders.

Transducers USA has announced the expansion of its line of TRIP-80 alarm series of high output audio alerts in a small package: 26mm dia. x 22mm high. The updated TRIP-80 series generates a sound pressure level of a minimum of 97dB @ 30cm with a continuous or fast pulsing audio output.

Transducers USA has announced the addition of a stainless steel warning indicator to its Tonelight series. The stainless steel package is ideal for use in any harsh environment. The Lintech 100 series linear positioning slides maximize performance while minimizing physical size and cost. These linear slides use a low friction, preloaded, recirculating linear ball bearing system, which ride on precision ground linear square rail guide.

The Eldorado M75-48T is a two-spindle gundrilling machine with 48 inches (1,219 mm) of slide travel. This is 60 percent more slide travel than the standard Eldorado model offered by the company. The additional length allows the machine to accommodate nearly all the gundrilling applications a job shop will encounter.
