It can also help to prolong tool life. Cutting with the cylinder can also allow faster cutting speeds for applications that do not require high precision. When high levels of accuracy are needed, users can choose to cut with the tip of the tool.

With the function block for dynamic muting, it is possible to configure tool class, muting end point or protected field modes simply and quickly. Safety functions such as position, speed, braking ramp, overrun distances and protected field can also be monitored. The function block ensures that dynamic muting is initiated once the check is complete. Manual programming is no longer required, so the press application is in operation quickly and safely.

Available in diameters from 1/8" to 1", the MA267/MA263 Advance tools are excellent for machining all other ISO N materials, such as copper, brass, bronze and magnesium-based alloys, in addition to aluminum. The AKD2G 24A servo drive provides configurable options including safety level, I/O, feedback, and fieldbus. It supports a secondary brake through a standard X4 connector and allows for faster Smart Feedback Adapter (SFA) wiring with a standard X5 connector.
