Siemens has expanded its drive portfolio for servo applications to include the Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors, which are for use with the Sinamics S120 drive system. Sinamics S120 drives and Simotics S-1FG1 servo geared motors are an integral component of Siemens Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), which reportedly reduces engineering time and costs.

Barton International says its Trident-2 diamond cutting head for waterjet machines offers the advantages of an integrated-diamond design with the versatility of a replaceable-orifice cartridge. Kennametal is expanding its Mill 4 family with a new cutting tool, the Mill 4-11.
