Flow 5.0 includes checks and messages that identify possible errors before a build even starts, reducing the likelihood of customers experiencing failures in their builds. In doing so, engineers can be confident that a part will print successfully before the process begins. Flow also now includes labeling for objects.

Among the additions are new models of the company's Carbide Micro Grinding Mandrels for optimized precision micro machining accuracy and performance. Carbide Micro Grinding Mandrels are compatible for use with Tungsten Carbide, fiberglass, stone, marble, ferrite, composites, non-ferrous metals, industrial ceramics, rubber, reinforced plastics, glass, and other hard abrasive materials. Offered in both Diamond and Borazon Jig types, the grinding mandrels are further available with a choice of either 500/600 or 325/400 grit, as well as either a 0.016", 0.020", or 0.02" head size.

WBH20C WL25 indexable inserts are full-radius copy turning inserts with Walter Lock positive engagement. The WL positive engagement provides maximum stability and precision for reliable machining of contours. With pocket support right under the cutting edge, and exceptional ability to prevent vibrations; the WL positive engagement is substantially better than the conventional V-shaped or even full radius grooving inserts.

The lineup includes solid carbide grippers for high wear and high load applications. While the SofTop™ urethane grippers are available in a variety of durometers and are permanently bonded to a 300 series stainless steel pad. The non-marking, non-staining urethane provides excellent protection against damage on delicate work surfaces.

The coating's mechanical post-treatment induces a unique state of residual stress in the layer surface, which in turn increases process security. The DRAGONSKIN grade CTCP425-P with advanced AL2O3-TiN CVD coating is particularly well suited for when uninterrupted cuts are required. It delivers excellent wear resistance even at increased cutting speeds.

To avoid interference with workpiece contours, the lengths of DirectCooling Series holders are ideally matched to one another and offer optimal stability and unlimited flexibility. This flexibility is further enhanced with an HSK-T universal standard interface for turning tools that ensures straightforward connection to multifunction machines such as turning/milling centers and milling/turning centers.

The PolyClamp Verso is equipped with a quick jaw change system as standard. Using just two screws, the fixed and adjustable jaws are released, removed upwards or repositioned. This significantly reduces setup times because each jaw is individually removable without having to dismantle the others.

The Linear Actuator FAULHABER L product family is designed for high performances in compact dimensions, it supports large input speed or high output force. It is well-suited for a wide range of applications like robotics, industrial machines and laboratory equipment. A large number of reduction ratios, uniformly distributed, are available to select the most appropriate configuration to fit various force or speed operating points as required by the application.

The wear-free nozzle is equipped with a valve specially developed by acp for this purpose which enables pulse times as fast as 20 milliseconds. In contrast with pilot-operated standard valves, the direct control of the valve prevents icing and thus ensures reliable operation and consistently superior results. The jet and pause times can be set independently of each other, so that the pulses can be optimally adapted to the respective application and also to the part-specific cleaning sequence. At the same time, the pulsed jet reduces CO2 and compressed air consumption. Depending on the pulse time, savings between 10 and 15 percent can be achieved.

With "Key-in-pocket," Pilz has created a digital maintenance safeguarding system which is flexible to meets the demands of both safety and industrial security. "Key-in-pocket" ensures that the machine does not restart while maintenance work is being done and that unauthorized personnel do not gain access. The solution offers safety in the face of a hazardous restart while at the same time, industrial security, because it is impossible to tamper with the maintenance work.

KBN020 excels as a 1st choice, general purpose CBN grade with a broad application range from continuous to heavily interrupted machining. Utilizing innovative new layering techniques, Kyocera has developed the MEGACOAT TOUGH coating technology. This coating combines a highly wear-resistant layer on the surface adhered to high-content CBN which is used to toughen up the edge for greater fracture resistance when encountering interruptions.

Titespot angle heads are indexable, allowing multi-position machining with one angle head and set-up, and their compact profile allows machining in bores and cavities not accessible to mechanical heads. Eltool Angle Heads can machine in bores down to 5/8″ in diameter and develop up to 2.5 Horsepower – enough to drill ½" holes through 4140 steel.
