Hyperion's materials experts specially engineered grade AM110 to optimize the hardness, toughness and galling resistance required for machining superalloys in today's demanding industrial applications. The Base Master lineup is used with all types of machines and materials, including non-conductive cutting tools, workpieces and machine tools. Quickly measure workpiece offsets, tool lengths and cutting edges with zero risk of damage or breakage at submillimeter levels when needed.

Equipped with ultra-low noise PWM drives, the A-811 single axis controller integrates a closed loop servo controller with drive in a compact case. The G-901 controllers are also based on ACS hardware and EtherCat® connectivity, providing up to 1500W output per axis.

The WNN15 grade delivers outstanding process reliability and long tool life, even at extremely high cutting speeds. This means that it makes indexable insert drilling more cost-effective than comparable PCD tools with immediate effect. The indexable insert drills offer the advantage of multiple indexing which means that the tool can be used again immediately and with comparably lower costs and less time required. Worn indexable inserts can be replaced quickly and easily.

The front-mount option is available for inclusion on a total of four manual clamps that can be used with both vertical and horizontal handle action. The two vertical operating models – 2002-UF and 2007-UF – provide enlarged space for manual operations and increased safety. The horizontal versions – models 225-UF and 235-UF – have a flat design that creates space for larger hand clearance, which improves operational safety.

Parylene is the ultimate protective coating, and is used for customers that require protection of equipment, components, and surfaces in a range of end-use applications. Parylene is a hydrophobic polymer which is lightweight and can be applied as an extremely thin homogeneous film. This film is absolutely smooth and totally transparent, and does not cause any unwanted effects such as surface tension and distortion. The coating provides incredible resistance to aggressive media and liquid hydrocarbons, and can also be used as a diffusion barrier to gases.

The system comprises an ultra-compact RMI-QE radio interface with an updated communication protocol, as well as major updates to the complete range of market-leading radio transmission probes. The new enhancements deliver significantly improved battery life, simplified set up, and remote diagnostics to all radio probes.

The APS Automation Cell is capable of delivering abrasive-to-part and part-to-abrasive applications, wet/ dry processing and uses a full range of abrasives such as coated, non-woven, thin wheel, bonded and superabrasives. Equipped with a verified turnkey solution, manufacturers can then contact an automation system integrator to implement the solution. This avoids costly trial and error at the integrator level.

AddForceBarrel uses inserts whose cutting edges have a large-radius arc of either 20 mm (.787″) or 30 mm (1.181″), designed for semi-finish profiling of 3D surfaces. Just like the TungMeister's barrel milling heads, AddForceBarrel provides much greater engagement area between the cutting edge and workpiece when compared with conventional ballnose end mills. Greater engagement area enables larger stepovers, which improves metal removal rates for reduced number of cutter passes and cycle times.

This AMO speed sensor includes a USB interface which allows the operating status of the spindle to output to the machine control. This enables the user to record rotational speed, operating time, temperature and more. Put these factors together, and overall performance and uptime expectations are optimized.

Receiving the most extensive quality enhancements is the Model 802-U Manual Clamp. The updates include an upgraded air cylinder that ensures the clamp's exerting force is less than the maximum holding capacity when operated at normal pressure, which extends service life; new composite bearings on the trunnion mount and cylinder pivot point that eliminate metal-to-metal contact while requiring no lubrication; and a redesigned clevis bolt, along with increased rivet and pre-stop diameters that increase longevity.
