The MiniForce-Turn series offers innovative double-sided turning inserts with positive rake cutting edges on both sides. These proven inserts are capable of soft cutting action similar to that of positive inserts with an added advantage of double cutting edges.

This is the third ModuleWorks release of 2021 and contains new and enhanced features across the entire product range, including new multi-axis hole making cycles with independent feed rate control, a new morph pattern for laser aided manufacturing and a collision-free solution for robotics post processing.

Pin Vises have a small footprint, allowing room for more parts on a table resulting in increased throughput. Pin Vises are also lightweight making them ideal for automated applications where weight is a consideration.

There are two indexable insert sizes with facet—SDMX0904ZDR-E27 and SDMX1205ZDR-E27. The M4002 cutter provides a depth of cut of 1.5 or 2.0 mm and is available in diameters of 25-125 mm or 1-4 in. and is ideal for high-speed milling in steel and cast iron, stainless steel and materials with difficult cutting properties.

Both grinders feature a RAPIDSTOP™ Brake for enhanced user safety, stopping most wheels in less than two seconds. The grinders are available with either a paddle switch, designed for increased comfort and ease-of-use when operating in various positions, or a slide switch, designed to reduce user fatigue.

EcoShield® 386 FD Water Based Micro Corrosion Inhibiting Coating is a force-dry version of Cortec's top water-based anticorrosion coating, EcoShield® VpCI®-386. As such, EcoShield® 386 FD offers excellent corrosion protection at 1.5-3.0 mils (37.5-75 µm) DFT (dry film thickness).

Using Alum-Renew prior to painting improves even distribution of high-performance resins through reduction of surface irregularities. The kit allows users to try products of varying intensities before purchasing selected materials in production quantities.

The TS 760 probe offers extremely high accuracy (±1 µm) and homogeneous switching behavior over 360°. And for 3-D measurement, the feed rate/probing speed of 1 m/min is four times faster than other commercially available products that offer the same impressive repeatability of (2σ ≤ 0.25 µm).

Highlights in hyperMILL® 2022.1 include a new break-edge function for contour milling, combined pocket milling together with a finish path allowing cutter compensation, and increased efficiency for 3D plane machining. The new automated 3D plane machining strategy improves machining quality by searching for suitable, high performance path layouts according to parameters including when adaptive pockets are present.

The anti-friction coating reduces radial distortion helping improve run-out. Parlec P3 ER collets have a repeatably accuracy of 0.0001" and are sealed for coolant pressures up to 2,000 PSI due to a special slotting design.

Packed with new and established features that are available on Vision Engineering's EVO Cam ll, the VE Cam enables users to do more within a smaller footprint making it ideal for many routine inspection tasks. The VE Cam is stand alone and does not require a PC, keyboard or mouse.

This media has a patented shape without any flat, parallel surface areas. On the one hand this unique design prevents media lodging in the work pieces, which can occur particularly in case of complex work pieces. Such lodged media can severely affect the finishing process and must frequently be removed by hand.
