Ceratizit USA Inc. says it redesigned its MonsterMill – ISO-S line of milling cutters to provide manufacturers efficient cutting, long tool life, and excellent surface finishes when milling nickel- and titanium-based alloys. In addition to its 4- and 5-flute cutters, the MonsterMill – ISO-S line now includes a 6-flute cutter for superior surface finishes that reduce secondary operations.

The powRgrip (PG) 48 toolholding system from Rego-Fix USA is suited for large-diameter tools and aggressive machining. The HBE663A Dynamic horizontal bandsaw from Behringer Saws Inc. for sawing bundled materials features a double clamping vice that the company says securely clamps both the starting material and the finished cut, making it suited for bundle cutting or single cuts.

The TAG90 center-through-coolant angle head and AG35 high-pressure coolant adapters from Big Daishowa deliver coolant directly from the machine spindle to the cutting edge, bypassing the stop block, which enhances cooling efficiency and chip removal. The new angle heads support coolant pressures up to 1,000 PSI.
