The MVR-Cx series is a simple, easy-to-use machine that efficiently performs single-item and high-mix low-volume production in machining general large parts such as can structures. The newly developed "Nidec Navi" operation support function, which significantly reduces the production time from receiving a job to shipping a product, comes as a standard feature. A wide variety of original screens are available to simplify initial machining settings, such as program creation, debugging, and centering of the workpiece before machining, which used to be time-consuming in one-product and high-mix low-volume productions.

Unlike traditional bridge CMMs, the AEROS main structure of support pillars and longitudinal guideways remains static, with only the gantry beam assembly moving during measurement. Resistance, voltage, current, frequency – almost all output signals can be adjusted to their target value via the LFT-500 Series tool, in conjunction with appropriate measuring equipment. DeepTri-Drill now offers wear-resistant AH9130 insert grade for its LOGT and TOHT inserts. AH9130 is the latest PVD technology specifically engineered for hole making applications. The grade consists of the latest PVD coating layer optimized for hole making applications combined with a dedicated carbide substrate and demonstrates superior wear resistance during deep drilling of steel, stainless steel, and cast iron, providing long and stable tool life.

One highlight of HALCON 21.11 is the addition of instance segmentation technology to the range of deep learning functions. This technology combines the benefits of semantic segmentation with those of object detection and enables the pixel-precise assignment of objects to different classes. It is particularly useful in applications where objects are very close together, touch each other, or overlap. This is the case, for example, when gripping randomly arranged objects from bins ("random bin picking") and when identifying and measuring naturally grown structures, such as organic material.
