Scribewriter Force II Parts Marking Tool

Tapmatic's Scribewriter Force II allows end users to utilize a single setup and mark a part with any logo or text as it is being made. This eliminates the need for separate stand-alone marking machines.

Using CAM or engraving software, programming is done either directly at the machine control or from the programmers work station. The tool uses a unique flexure technology that allows marking materials with a hardness up to 62 HRC, without the need to change springs. Simply adjust the dial, from 0 to 7 or up to H for the hardest materials, and a part is ready to be marked.

    hardness

Hardness is a measure of the resistance of a material to surface indentation or abrasion. There is no absolute scale for hardness. In order to express hardness quantitatively, each type of test has its own scale, which defines hardness. Indentation hardness obtained through static methods is measured by Brinell, Rockwell, Vickers and Knoop tests. Hardness without indentation is measured by a dynamic method, known as the Scleroscope test.
